For this piece of art, I created the Eiffel Tower. I made this using brush tip markers and thin pen markers. First I started out by making a rough sketch of the Eiffel tower, with pencil. Then I cleaned up the lines a bit and started adding more detail, still using pencil. I started adding detail, like the wires that are seen on the Eiffel Tower, and the x’s that are on the Eiffel tower. Then when I was satisfied with the detail I started tracing with my pens and coloring with my brush marker. At one point while doing this, I colored in a space with black and let it dry a bit. I started shading on it with a white colored pencil and it looked fine. But then I looked back at my art about an hour later and it had turned blue. To solve this and make it white again, I used a bit of white and black acrylic and it did fixed it. I learned that I should no longer use a black marker with white colored pencil because I do not want the color to turn blue again.
The element of art I used in this piece was line. I used straight and curvy lines. I used very many straight lines within the whole drawing, and curvy lines were also used to create the upper part of the eiffel tower, where it slopes up and in.
